The USFL, which Fox Sports owns and finances, is the fourth attempt at establishing a new American football league. It is reported that the broadcaster spent about $200 million over the course of three years on the initiative.

The eight teams in the new league will begin play on April 16; the entire initial season will take place in Alabama.

It has joined the AGA's 'Have a Game Plan. Bet Responsibly' campaign, which was introduced in 2019, in an effort to encourage responsible gambling from the outset.

The rapid expansion of regulated sports betting in the United States led to the creation of the campaign, which has previously collaborated with entities such as Rush Street Interactive, Entain, DraftKings, the UFC, and the New York Knicks.

More than half of US people can now lawfully bet on sports, since it is now permitted in 33 states for both in-person and online wagering.

The USFL is dedicated to assisting in educating our supporters so they may better enjoy the experience as sports betting spreads across the country.

The New Jersey Generals and the Birmingham Stallions will play in the USFL's opening game on April 16.
