The sports betting company controlled by Super Group has obtained sponsorship rights, including association rights and significant courtside branding across all match courts, for the Rio Open in 2022 and 2023.

Additionally, Betway intends to create tennis-related content for the tournament's digital and social media platforms.

The Rio Open's director, Marcia Casz, stated, "It is a pleasure to have a brand as big as Betway in the portfolio." "We are thrilled to have one of the top companies in its field as a partner for the biggest tennis tournament in Latin America, and we look forward to continuing this partnership for many years to come."

Since its founding in 2014, the Jockey Club Brasileiro in Rio de Janeiro has played host to renowned tennis players such as Rafael Nadal, David Ferrer, and Cristian Garin on its eight clay courts. Both the Rio Open and the ATP Tour 500 are the only events held in South America and Brazil, respectively.

This move also maintains Betway's recent success in landing sponsorship arrangements in the tennis world; it was the official betting partner of the Stockholm Open.
