According to the agreement, Sportradar has obtained the AIHL's global data and audio-visual distribution rights, with the exception of Australia and New Zealand, until the end of 2024.

The sports technology company Sportradar will provide the AIHL with a number of technical solutions, one of which is Connected Stadium, an automatic feature that records live games and improves the quality of video output.

According to the AIHL, integrating Sportradar's technologies will contribute to making Australian ice hockey facilities offer a more engaging spectator experience. By 2024, at least six league venues—including Melbourne's O'Brien Icehouse—will have the Connected Stadium feature added.

Additionally, Sportradar, a global provider of bet monitoring and match-fixing detection services, will grant the AIHL access to its Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS).

With this most recent agreement, Sportradar now has relationships with ten ice hockey leagues worldwide, including the Champions Hockey League in Europe and the National Hockey League and Canadian Hockey League in North America.
