US Soccer, the sport's official governing body in the United States, has inked a relationship with Sportradar, making it the organization's first official betting partner.

Sportradar will be granted exclusive rights to collect, licence, and disseminate official betting and media data from matches to regulated betting operators and media outlets.

In addition, Sportradar has exclusive distribution rights to live AV streaming of US Soccer competitions.

The two businesses will also create next-generation systems to power sports betting, as well as introduce sport-signature bets and in-play betting options.

Eric Conrad, Sportradar's Executive Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Content, stated, "The global prominence of football, both men's and women's, is at an all-time high.

"At this critical juncture for the sport, this relationship underscores our shared commitment with US Soccer to deliver the sport to a bigger audience both here and internationally.

"I am confident that our scale, technology and leadership in the market will position us to effectively monetise these rights with a strong focus on future value creation."

The agreement will cover more than 100 matches per year for both the men's and women's teams, with US Soccer also using Sportradar's Integrity Services for bet monitoring.

Ross Moses, US Soccer's VP of Business Ventures, stated, "The incredible youth and diversity that strengthen the USMNT and USWNT are just as evident in our fan bases, and this is an obvious area - not only gaming but technology in general - to accelerate the growth of our sport and connect new partners to important growth demographics."

US Soccer is the latest football-related company to collaborate with the data company, after CONMEBOL chose Sportradar as its official betting partner earlier this summer.
